Beaches, boating, cafe or cultural experiences. In the surrounding area around Larkollen Camping, you and the whole family can experience all that the summer has to offer. Larkollen is one of Oslo’s great idylls and is often called the Riviera of Norway.

The white painted old mansions have gained new life as a cottage. Before, Larkollen was an important sailboat port and was among the places in Iceland that had the most contact with abroad. Larkollen Camping has distinctive vegetation and scenic areas overlooking the sea gorge.

Larkollen, located in Rygge municipality, is one of Oslofjord’s most popular resorts. With its idyllic setting and many outdoor areas, it is referred to as a typical summer place.

Larkollen has around 1400 permanent residents, but during the summer months, the population is almost doubled. The southwest-facing Denmark coast just below Larkollen Camping is considered by many to be one of the district’s finest sandy beaches.

Should you be so unlucky that the weather is not top, a visit to Rygge Storsenter may be an option. Rygge Storsenter has a lot of shops, and one of the café’s cafés also offers a bite to eat.
